Today's 9-12ers are yesterday's 12-15ers - a factor not figured into the planning of this fun-and-games event. By planners who seemingly are more naive than their target-group. Would they otherwise have come-up with this?

The increasing problem of bullying in/around schools is largely fed by gossip/rumors - often spread, sought and found on social-networking sites; the frequent intensity behind these efforts surely involving forms of spying. 9-12ers - among others - are aware of this power and use it.

Through various forms of entertainment, including politics - all a reality-replacement-show - we are aware of Daniel Craig: totally deadly and largely because of that totally hot - and the Obamarama: totally deadly and with that totally cold. Both are spies, and spying is power. Within and without.

1984 way past: spying and being spied-on has become part of the daily run of stuff - here, there and everywhere. We are not immune to it in Nelson's Brigadoon fog-belt.
Although the intent itself behind this proposed I-Punch-You-Judy-Show surely was harmless enough: it is disturbing that adults - in an educational setting - find spying on others amusing. And encourage it.
So astonishingly out-of-touch with the average 9-12er - out there!
To express thoughts on this convergence jumble:
